We have listed some important phone numbers and website links below. This is not a complete list, it is intended for use as a reference. Near the bottom are some links to utilities and services that are useful to new residents.

For all non-emergency city services, including issues such as barking dogs, graffiti, zoning compliance, and potholes, dial 311 or visit the 311 website.

Established in 1956, the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center (RMPDC) is one of the oldest poison control centers in the nation providing poison and drug information services to medical professionals and the public.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supported by the Department of Safety, which collects information on unsolved crimes or individuals wanted by public safety agencies in the Denver Metro area and gives awards of up to $2,000.

Code numbers are issued to callers. For information that leads to an arrest, callers are entitled to monetary awards. Crime Stoppers authorizes a bank to release the award money. Callers pick up the award from the bank using code numbers for identification.

The Denver Center for Crime Victims (DCCV) is a nonprofit agency that provides culturally and linguistically responsive services to victims of crime and crime prevention education. DCCV serves all victims of crime regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or national origin. All services are offered at no cost in over 41 languages and dialects.

Denver Partners Against Graffiti

Denver Partners Against Graffiti (DPAG) provides graffiti removal assistance on business and residential properties within the City & County of Denver using current graffiti removal methods and equipment; painting over the graffiti, hand cleaning or power washing the surface.

The city must have a signed authorization form to remove graffiti from private property and in most cases there is no charge for this assistance. Forms can be downloaded from the DPAG website.

DPAG also offers free graffiti removal supplies through the “Paint Bank.” Citizens can pick up supplies to remove graffiti from their property. Arrangements to pick up the supplies must be made in advance by calling the Graffiti Hotline 720-865-STOP (7867). Available supplies include paint in 6- standard colors; graffiti wipes to remove graffiti from traffic control boxes, poles, and signs; and dumpster paint to cover graffiti on city-owned trash receptacles(dumpsters).

Denver Partners Against Graffiti also offers assistance in organizing a community cleanup.
